70-Year-Old Man Arrested with Weapons Cache

COLOMBO (News 1st); A suspect was arrested in the Akmeemana area of Galle with a cache of foreign-made firearms. 

The raid was conducted by officers from the Colombo Crime Division.

The suspect, a 70-year-old man who arrived from Italy six months ago, was found in possession of seven firearms. 

According to police reports, he had been bringing these weapons into the country during his visits from Italy.
