Kotahena Shooting: Two Suspects in Custody, Stolen Motorcycle Recovered

COLOMBO (News 1st); Two suspects have been arrested in connection with the fatal shooting of a man in the Kotahena area. 

The arrests were made by the Mount Lavinia Division Crime Investigation Unit.

One suspect was apprehended on St. Rita's Road in Mount Lavinia. During questioning, it was revealed that a stolen motorcycle, hidden in Egoda Uyana, was used in the Kotahena shooting on the 21st of this month.

Further investigations led to the arrest of another suspect in Katukurunda, Moratuwa. 

The police also detained the owner of the motorcycle and another individual who had possession of the vehicle in Minuwangoda.
