Prime Minister Dr. Harini Amarasuriya Commits to Building a Citizen-Centered Sri Lanka Under NPP Government

COLOMBO (News 1st): Prime Minister Dr. Harini Amarasuriya says that a country that prioritizes its citizens and places them first will be built under a NPP government.

The Prime Minister made these remarks during a visit to Naachiguda in Punagari, Kilinochchi.

Prime MInister Harini Amarasuriya affirmed that together with the citizens of Sri Lanka, she believes that it is possible to bring about a major change in the country. 

She added that the government will not allow anyone to take this change in the wrong direction. 

She affirmed that the government will not allow racism to prevail and at no cost will the government tolerate a legal system that only protects the powerful. 

She emphasized that this NPP government is creating a country that prioritizes the protection of citizens. 

She also highlighted that the country's primary focus will be to address the economic issues within the country, increase people's income, and create more job opportunities. 

Meanwhile, Prime Minister Dr. Harini Amarasuriya visited the Sri Lanka-German Vocational Training Institute to assess the needs of the centre and the challenges faced by the students.

The Governor of the Northern Province, Nagalingam Vedanayagam, was also present.
