Steps Taken To Complete Incomplete Projects By Previous Administration

COLOMBO (News 1st); Ministry of Provincial Councils, Local Government says it will complete the construction of projects that were left incomplete by the previous administration.

Deputy Minister of Provincial Councils and Local Government Ruwan Senarath says such projects have already been identified at a local government level.

These include, bridges, culverts and rural roads.

The deputy minister added that these projects encountered financial issues as they were initiated without proper planning.

The general public that was to benefit from these projects has also been significantly affected by these incomplete projects.

The Deputy Minister stated that authorities have been instructed to complete all such projects following the tabling of the upcoming budget.
