Air Quality Across Sri Lanka Remains Low

COLOMBO (News1st); The air quality across all districts in Sri Lanka remains low. 

Director of the Environmental Studies & Services Division at the National Building Research Organization, Sarath Premasiri said that wind flow from India is contributing to this condition. 

He also noted that several South Asian countries are experiencing rising levels of air pollution. 

Main districts, including Colombo and Jaffna, have reported higher pollution levels.

Sarath Premasiri advised those with respiratory conditions to exercise caution due to the current air quality.
