AG's Department Uncovers Evidence Linking Politicians to Controversial Incidents

COLOMBO (News 1st); The Attorney General's Department has emphasized that there is no political interference in any of its ongoing investigations.

The department stated that it is expediting investigations on numerous case files, although there are minor delays in some.

To address these delays, a team of senior officials from the department is actively working to accelerate the investigations. 

The department also mentioned that studies are being conducted to file indictments against several individuals, including politicians, in connection with various controversial incidents.

The Attorney General's Department highlighted that evidence is emerging linking these politicians to the incidents in question.
