Over 90 Firearms Seized by Police in Major Raids in 2024

COLOMBO (News 1st) - The police confiscated 20 T-56 firearms belonging to organized criminals in 2024.
Police Spokesperson, SSP Buddhika Manatunga said these firearms were seized during a series of raids carried out by the Police Special Task Force and other police units.
In addition, the police also seized 37 pistols and 36 revolvers during the same period.
