Perpetual Treasuries Ltd. Suspension Extended By Another 6 Months

COLOMBO (News 1st) - The Central Bank of Sri Lanka has decided to extend the suspension of Perpetual Treasuries Limited (PTL) from carrying on the business and activities of a Primary Dealer for a further period of six months with effect from 4.30 p.m. today, in order to continue the investigations being conducted by the Central Bank of Sri Lanka.

The Central Bank of Sri Lanka is acting in terms of the Regulations made under the Registered Stock and Securities Ordinance and the Local Treasury Bills Ordinance.

Perpetual Treasuries Ltd. was first suspended on July 6, 2017, and the suspension has been extended every six months since then.
