17-year-old Yevan Dominates EuroFormula Open

COLOMBO (News 1st); The 17-year-old Sri Lankan driver , Yevan David who is one of the top EFO title contenders this year started his EuroFormula Open Championship 2025 on a high note by securing victories in Race 2 and Race 3 at the Algarve International Circuit in Portimão, Portugal, yesterday.

After securing third place in Race 1, Yevan David dominated the track yesterday, clinching impressive victories in both Race 2 and Race 3.

These wins mark a significant milestone for David, representing his first victories of the 2025 season and also the first successes for his team, Motopark, in the current championship. 

Following these results at the opening round, Yevan David currently leads the EuroFormula Open Championship 2025 standings with a total of 65 points. His Motopark teammate, Michael Shin of South Korea, follows in second place with 55 points, while Edward Pearson currently holds the third position with 43 points.

The next thrilling round of the EuroFormula Open Championship 2025 is scheduled to take place in Belgium next month.
