COLOMBO (News 1st) - Sri Lanka Customs has announced that another 12,000 metric tons of imported rice is scheduled to be unloaded at the Colombo Port.
Customs media spokesperson Seevali Arukgoda said that a total of 75,000 metric tons of imported rice has been cleared through customs so far.
This includes 32,000 metric tons of raw rice and 43,000 metric tons of Nadu rice.
No rice imports were recorded over the weekend.
