COLOMBO (News 1st): Plans have been made to recommence train travel between Badulla and Bandarawela tomorrow evening.
The Department of Railways says that operations are underway to clear the rocks and mounds of earth that collapsed onto the road, due to heavy rainfall.
The Department adds that several teams have been deployed for this purpose.
Train travel along the upcountry railway line had been limited up to Bandarawela due to disasters linked to heavy rainfall experienced by the region.
