1,794 Complaints Received Concerning 2024 General Election

COLOMBO (News 1st) - The National Election Commission has reported receiving a total of 1,794 complaints related to the 2024 General election since the 26th of October.
From these complaints, 1,741 are related to alleged violations of election laws.
Additionally, 18 complaints have been filed concerning acts of violence during the election period.
The National Election Commission also stated that 1,483 of these complaints have already been addressed and resolved.
