COLOMBO (News 1st) - The Supreme Court has dismissed the fundamental rights petition filed against Ranjan Ramanayake citing that he is unsuitable to contest the Parliamentary Election.

The relevant petition was filed by Mahinda Senanayaka, a candidate representing an independent group in the Gampaha District

Ranjan Ramanayake and others were named as respondents in the case.
