MTV Wins ABU Diversity & Inclusion Media Award

MTV Recognized for Advancing Gender Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion in Media

COLOMBO(News 1st) - MTV Channel (Private) Limited of the Capital Maharaja Group (CMG), has been recognized with the Asia-Pacific Broadcasting Union (ABU) Diversity and Inclusion Media Award for 2024. 

The award was presented at the 13th Broadcasting for All: Diversity and Inclusion in the Media Forum, held in Istanbul, Türkiye, Today (20th of October). 

Chevaan Daniel, Group Director of CMG and Head of the Media Vertical, accepted the award on behalf of MTV Channel during the event. 

The award acknowledges MTV Channel's efforts in advancing gender equality, diversity, and inclusion within the media industry, specifically for its initiatives to promote an inclusive workplace culture.

MTV Channel's focus on gender equality and inclusivity is reflected in this win and encourages fostering a supportive environment for both employees and the wider community.
