Postal Ballot Papers for Elpitiya PS Election Dispatched

COLOMBO (News 1st): The Election Commission announced that secured packets containing official postal ballot papers of the Elpitiya Pradeshiya Sabha election, will be handed over to the postal department today.

The commission's chairman, R.M.A.L. Rathnayake, said that these packets will be directed to government institutions by the postal department.

The postal voting for the Elpitiya Pradeshiya Sabha elections is scheduled for October 14, 2024.

The Election Commission further highlighted that postal voters who are unable to cast their ballots on 14th October will have a special opportunity to do so on the 18th October, at election offices in their respective district.

Official polling cards for Elpitiya Pradeshiya Sabha Elections are set to be delivered to the postal service on the 12th October, and these will be distributed from October 17 to the 20.

The Elpitiya Pradeshiya Sabha Election will take place on October 26, 2024.
