Sajith Emphasizes Adherence to Election Laws

COLOMBO (News 1st): SJB Presidential Candidate Sajith Premadasa has highlighted the importance of adhering to election laws during this crucial election period. 

Speaking to the media, Premadasa stressed that he would refrain from making extensive comments until the election process is fully concluded to avoid violating any regulations.

"It's a very crucial election, but I also don't want to violate election laws because the election is still in progress. So after the whole process is concluded, I can answer questions. As you know, in the past 24 hours and today, we have to protect the law of the land and the election laws. So all I can say is democracy will be victorious, and for everyone to be very calm and collected and promote and champion democracy," Premadasa stated.

He further emphasized the collective responsibility to conduct the election peacefully, amicably, and democratically. 

"At this moment, we are committed to adhering to election laws and regulations. Therefore, I must emphasize that it is our collective responsibility to conduct this election peacefully, amicably, and democratically. I believe it is not appropriate for me to make further statements beyond this point. As you know, election laws are currently in effect, and I urge everyone to respect them," he added.
