Tax Information To Be Disclosed Today

COLOMBO (News 1st); State Minister of Finance, Ranjith Siyambalapitiya, announced that all information regarding taxes will be disclosed today.

The announcement will be made with the participation of all relevant officials.

Siyambalapitiya highlighted that approximately 900 bank accounts have been suspended to recover outstanding taxes. 

He emphasized the government's commitment to properly managing state revenue and addressing tax arrears.

Despite accusations that tax arrears have not been collected effectively, Siyambalapitiya asserted that the current measures represent an unprecedented effort to recover unpaid taxes and boost government income.
