Government Press Commences Printing Ballot Papers

COLOMBO (News 1st); The Government Printer has officially begun the printing process for the upcoming presidential election.

A senior official has confirmed that additional police protection has been deployed to ensure the security of the printing operations.

This year's official ballot is notably extensive, measuring 28 inches in length. 

The Government Press has announced plans to deliver the first batch of these ballot papers to the Election Commission ahead of the scheduled postal voting day.
