COLOMBO (News 1st); Bandula Lal Bandarigoda was sworn in as a Member of Parliament in the presence of the Speaker.
Bandarigoda took the oath for the Galle district MP position, which became vacant following a court decision that resulted in the loss of Manusha Nanayakkara's seat.
In the last general election, Bandarigoda ranked third in the preference list for the Galle district, securing a total of 34,897 votes.
