Sri Lanka's Ali Sabry Meets Japan’s Chief Cabinet Secretary in Tokyo

COLOMBO (News 1st); Sri Lanka's Foreign Affairs Minister Ali Sabry, called on former Foreign Minister and current Chief Cabinet Secretary of Japan, Hayashi Yoshimasa, this morning in Tokyo.

Ali Sabry said they held discussions on the vibrant Japan - Sri Lanka partnership and shared views on the way to further bolster the engagement.

The Sri Lankan Foreign Affairs Minister had given an update of the latest economic situation and the progress of the debt restructuring process.

Japan's former Foreign Minister expressed his confidence that Sri Lanka’s economy will continue to improve.
