India Cruises into T20 World Cup Final After Dominant Win Over England

COLOMBO (News 1st) - 
India booked their place in the final of the T20 World Cup for the third time with a comprehensive 68-run victory over England in a one-sided second semi-final at the Providence Stadium in Guyana.

Electing to bat first, India posted a competitive total of 171 runs for the loss of seven wickets in their allotted 20 overs.

England's chase for the target never really got going. Facing a disciplined Indian bowling attack, they lost wickets at regular intervals and were eventually restricted to a paltry 103 runs in 16 overs.

India will now face South Africa in the final, which will be played tomorrow.
