CID Arrests Chairman of 'Magen Ratata' Sanjaya Mahawatta

COLOMBO (News 1st) - Chairman of the 'Magen Ratata' organization Sanjaya Mahawatta has been arrested by the Criminal Investigation Department (CID).

The Magen Ratata organization aims to align the society for a corruption free country. 

Police Spokesperson DIG Nihal Thalduwa said Sanjaya Mahawatta was arrested based on an alleged complaint filed involving the DIG in-charge of the CID.

The complaint was filed by the DIG in-charge of the CID.
