Court Extends Order Against Wijeyadasa

COLOMBO (News 1st); The Colombo District Court extended the order prohibiting Justice Minister (Dr) Wijeyadasa Rajapakshe from serving as the chairman of the Sri Lanka Freedom Party and as a party member.

The extension was granted during the reconvening of a petition submitted by Sri Lanka Freedom Party Treasurer, Minister Lasantha Alagiyawanna.

Additionally, the court instructed the respondents to submit their objections within the specified timeframe.

The case will be called again on July 9th.
