Indian Coast Guard Delivers Spare Parts to Sri Lanka

COLOMBO (News 1st) - The Indian Coast Guard ship, Sachet, arrived in Colombo to deliver spare parts for Sri Lanka Coast Guard ship, Suraksha.

The spare parts, valued at USD 1.2 million, were provided as a grant by the Indian government.

A formal handover ceremony was held to mark the occasion. High Commissioner of India to Sri Lanka Santosh Jha, Sri Lanka's Defence Secretary, Commander of the Sri Lanka Navy, and senior officers from both countries graced the event.
