Vehicular movement along Colombo-Kandy Road disrupted in Warakapola

COLOMBO (News1st); Vehicular movement along the Colombo - Kandy Road has been disrupted in Dummaladeniya, Warakapola, owing to a lorry containing gas cylinders meeting with an accident.
Sri Lanka Police said the lorry veered off the road and fell into a canal nearby.
The driver who sustained injuries in the accident was admitted to the Warakapola Hospital.
Police said measures are being taken to lift the lorry out of the canal, adding that it has led to disruptions in vehicular movement.
