Rs. 68.9 Million Heist Cracked: Two Insiders Arrested After Stealing From Financial Institution in Kalawana

Colombo (News 1st); The Police have arrested two suspects who broke into a financial institution in Kalawana, and stole over Rs. 68.9 million and gold.

Police say the suspects are 26 and 33 years old.

It was also revealed that the suspects were employed as sales representatives or officials responsible for gold in the institution.

Gold worth about 4 kg including chains, rings, bangles, bracelets, earrings and pendants were stolen by the suspects.
