Mannar Port land boundaries to be revised

COLOMBO (News1st); The Ministry of Ports, Shipping and Aviation has reached a decision to revise the land boundaries of the Mannar Port.

Its secretary K.D.S. Ruwan Chandra said the measure was taken due to issues regarding the previously gazetted land boundaries.

Accordingly, the revised limits are due to be published in the Gazette.

The Secretary said the previously gazetted limit included the Mannar Naval Base.

He said it will not be included in the new gazette, when the port limits are marked.
