COLOMBO (News 1st); A delegation from the Jathika Jana Balawegaya (JJB), led by party leader Anura Kumara Dissanayake, is currently on an official visit to India. Today, the delegation engaged in key meetings with prominent Indian organizations focused on policy and governance.
The JJB delegation met with representatives of the Observer Research Foundation (ORF), a leading global think tank based in New Delhi. The ORF provides research and advisory services on a wide range of policy issues to Indian policymakers and businesses.
Following the discussion at ORF, the JJB delegation visited the headquarters of the Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) in New Delhi. UIDAI is responsible for managing Aadhaar, India's national identity card system, which assigns a unique 12-digit identification number to all Indian residents.
