IMF Mission To Provide Technical Assistance on Fiscal Issues

COLOMBO (News 1st); An IMF capacity development mission will be in Sri Lanka to provide technical assistance on fiscal issues, confirmed an IMF Spokesperson to News 1st on Monday (5).
At the request of the government, the IMF provides technical assistance and training to its member countries on critical economic issues to strengthen capacity of institutions.
This mission is separate from program review missions, said the spokesperson.
