46 Indian fishermen apprehended within the last 24 days

COLOMBO (News 1st);46 Indian fishermen have been apprehended for illegal fishing activities within the last 24 days of the year.
Navy spokesperson Captain Gayan Wickramasuriya says that 8 Indian fishing boats have also been taken into custody.
He added that the apprehended Indian fishermen have been handed over to the Fisheries Inspectors for onward legal action.
