Suspect involved in Beliatta shooting arrested

COLOMBO (News 1st); A suspect linked to the killing of 05 people in Beliatta on Monday has been taken into Police custody in the Bathgama, Akuressa in Matara. 

Police say he was arrested by a police team headed by the Hakmana Police OIC. 

Police added the arrested suspect had led the murder that took in Beliatta.

The suspect has also worked as a businessman at the Manning Market while the jeep in which the suspects arrived for the shooting was also found hidden in Galle yesterday.
