South Eastern University in Oluvil closed due to flooding

COLOMBO (News 1st); All faculties of the South Eastern University of Sri Lanka in Oluvil, apart from the Faculty of Applied Sciences will be closed until further notice, due to floods in the area.

Chairman of the University Grants Commission Professor Sampath Amaratunge said students in hostels have been informed to leave.

Professor Sampath Amaratunge said the exams of the Faculty of Technology have also been postponed as a result.
