Police STF seizes explosives in the Victoria reserve

COLOMBO (News 1st) - Several explosives have been found in the Victoria reserve near the 16th-kilometer post of Padiyapalella road, Kandy. 

The Police Special Force has seized several explosives including four grenades, an anti-aircraft bullet, and nine bullets used in automatic firearms. 

The seizure was carried out based on a tip-off received by the Kalatu Oya police. 

The Police Special Task Force has defused the explosives. 

Further investigations are being carried out by the Police.
