Colombo (News 1st): Minister of Justice, Dr. Wijeyadasa Rajapakshe said it will take another 02 months to enforce the Anti-Corruption Act.
He said, that even if the Act is passed, many regulations related to the Act should be prepared and this process is taking place these days.
The Minister added that with the passage of the Act, the Commission to Investigate Allegations of Bribery or Corruption will operate according to the powers of the new Act.
The anti-corruption bill was passed by Parliament on July 19, without a vote and including amendments.
