Gammadda upgrades and renovates Oral, Maxillofacial Ward at Peradeniya University

COLOMBO (News 1st); The Ward Complex in the Department of Oral, Maxillofacial and Oral Surgery at the University of Peradeniya Teaching Hospital renovated and upgraded by Gammadda vested with the public.

The project also included the installation of new equipment at the ward complex.

The renovated and upgraded Ward Complex at the Department of Oral, Maxillofacial and Oral Surgery was opened in the presence of Chevaan Daniel of the Gammadda Movement, Professor Terrence Madhujith - Deputy Vice Chancellor of the University of Peradeniya, Professor Upul Bandara Dissanayake - Former Chancellor of the University of Peradeniya, General Manager for Human Resources of NEXT Manufacturing (Pvt) Ltd. Bharatha Amarasinghe, Gammadda National Organizer Kenneth Weerakkody among others.

The Ward Complex of the Department of Oral, Maxillofacial, and Oral Surgery of the Dental Faculty of the University of Peradeniya serves scores of people in Kandy and surrounding areas.

Unfortunately, over the years the roofing, beds, and even the doctor's break-room at the Ward Complex were in a dilapidated state, the ward itself required a fresh coat of paint.

Following a request made to Gammadda to renovate the Ward Complex and install new equipment, a project was launched on the 10th of December 2022.

The project was made possible by a kind donation from NEXT Manufacturing (Pvt) Ltd.
