Girl Arrested in Connection to Boyfriend's Murder in Illukhena

The 18 year old girlfriend of a man who was reported missing and later found murdered has been arrested by the Police.

The Police Media Unit said that following the interrogation, the girl was arrested on the charges of aiding and abetting a murder and concealing the crime.

The 18 year old suspect is also a resident living in the Illukhena area.

On April 22 the victim was reported missing as he was visiting his girlfriend's house in Kuliyapitiya, Ilukhena.

Later, the body of the 31-year-old man who had gone missing was found in the Panirendawa Forest Reserve in Madampe.
