Famed TV host Jerry Springer dies at 79

Colombo (News 1st) - Famed TV host Jerry Springer has died at the age of 79 in Chicago.
The Jerry Springer Show, a raucous, chaotic talk show, ran for nearly three decades from 1991. He served as host of America's Got Talent from 2007-08.
Prior to becoming a TV host, Springer was an advisor to U.S. Attorney General Robert Kennedy and served as Mayor of the city of Cincinnati, Ohio in the seventies. He then left politics and became a reporter at a local TV station.
