Prince William received large sum in secret 2020 settlement after suing publisher of Sun and News Of The World

Colombo (News 1st) - Prince William, the heir to the British throne, was paid a large sum in 2020 by the publisher of the Sun and News of the World newspapers as a settlement, after suing the media group for hacking the royal phones, UK media reported Tuesday.
The revelation came as William’s brother Prince Harry is in court, separately suing the same publisher for phone hacking.
The publisher, Rupert Murdoch, last week paid a sum of $700 million as a settlement for fake news regarding the last U.S. presidential election on his Fox News TV network in the United States.
