Police to increase patrols near ATMs

COLOMBO (News 1st) - Sri Lanka Police said that mobile patrols will be increased in areas where ATMs are located.

Police Spokesperson SSP Nihal Thalduwa speaking to News 1st said that legal action will be instituted against all suspects linked to ATM thefts in the recent past.

Recently, a man had looted the money placed inside an ATM in Kurunegala under the guise of repairing the device
