Indian Visa Application Center closed following suspected break-in

COLOMBO (News 1st); The Indian visa application center, IVS Pvt. Ltd, located in Colombo will be closed until further notice, announced the Indian High Commission on Wednesday (15) citing a a security incident reported on Tuesday (14) night.

A source confirmed that a break-in had taken place at the premises, and that a police investigation is underway.

The Indian High Commission in Colombo said that all applicants are requested to reschedule their appointments with IVS Pvt. Ltd accordingly.

For any urgent consular / visa matter, applicants are required to contact the High Commission over phone.
