"Proposed Electricity Bill not to be tabled on 13th December", says Minister of Power and Energy

COLOMBO (News 1st) - Minister of Power and Energy Kanchana Wijesekara said that the proposed Electricity Bill will not be tabled in Parliament on the 13th of December but in January 2024.
He said that the Ministry detected 42 printing errors in the gazetted Bill.
The Minister added that these errors will be directed to the Attorney General.
Meanwhile, the Minister also said that another electricity tariff revision is to be implemented in January 2024.
