Possible postal fee revision in 2024

COLOMBO (News 1st) - The Postal Department said that attention has been paid to revising postal fees next year. 

One of its senior officials said that this decision has been taken due to the increase in prices of raw materials. 

The Postal Department said that preliminary rounds of discussions in this regard have commenced. 

However one of its senior officials said that there is no connection between this fee revision and the VAT revision which will be in effect from the 1st of January, 2024.
