COLOMBO (News 1st) - Wasantha Samarasinghe from the Jathika Jana Balawegaya said that the rise in the cost of living has pushed the people of Sri Lanka into an abyss.
He pointed out that the electricity bills have increased by 441% during the 16 months since Ranil Wickremesinghe came into power, and they're failing to hold discussions on salary anomalies.
He also stressed that the tax hike has worsened the peoples' standard living..
