Parliament adjourned for five minutes

COLOMBO (News 1st) - Parliament was adjourned for five minutes when Opposition Leader Sajith Premadasa was addressing the session a short while ago.

This is due to interference from the ruling faction MPs.

The Opposition Leader was speaking about the recent Supreme Court ruling on Sri Lanka's bankruptcy, demanding for the government's position on the punishment for those proven guilty.
