Wall collapse at a school in Wellampitiya

One dead and 5 injured in a school located in Wellampitiya

COLOMBO (News 1st) - One of the students who were injured when a wall collapsed in a school in Wellampitiya has succumbed to her injuries. 

The deceased is a Grade 1 student. 

Deputy Director of the National Hospital of Sri Lanka Dr. Rukshan Bellana says two boys and three girls who sustained injuries in the incident are receiving treatment at the hospital. 

Police say the incident was reported this afternoon (Wednesday).
