Section of Marine Drive closed near Bambalapitiya Railway Station

COLOMBO (News 1st) - Heavy traffic was reported near the Bambalapitiya railway station, due to the ongoing repair of the overhead bridge.
Police said a section of Marine Drive near the Bambalapitiya railway station will be temporarily closed from Wednesday (06).
Vehicles traveling from Wellawatte to Colpetty along Marine Drive can proceed towards Galle Road via the Bambalapitiya Station Road.
Vehicles traveling from Colpetty to Wellawatte using Marine Drive can turn at Glen Arbor Place, enter Galle Road, and then continue along the Duplication Road to Wellawatte.
Police added that vehicular movement along both lanes on the rest of Marine Drive will remain normal.
