COLOMBO (News 1st); 13 Sri Lankans residing in the Gaza Strip have arrived near the Rafah border crossing.
Representative of Sri Lanka to the State of Palestine Bennet Cooray said a group of officials of the Embassy of Sri Lanka in Cairo, Egypt had visited them.
Measures will be taken to take them to the Embassy of Sri Lanka in Cairo, Egypt following discussions.
17 Sri Lankans belonging to three families were residing at the Gaza Strip.
Bennet Cooray said four of the Sri Lankans are staying at the Catholic Church in the Gaza Strip and they are safe.
