World Bank team to visit Sri Lanka today

A delegation from the World Bank is set to visit Sri Lanka today.

The delegation will include World Bank's Managing Director of Operations Anna Bjierde, State Minister of Finance Shehan Semasinghe

The World Bank team will engage in round table discussions with the President and multilateral financial institutions.

They will also monitor the progress of the projects carried out under the World Bank assistance in Sri Lanka.
 
The delegation will visit Anuradhapura today and is also scheduled to visit Jaffna tomorrow.
