Landslide warning for 10 districts extended

COLOMBO (News 1st) - The National Building Research Organisation has extended the landslide warning issued to 10 districts, due to heavy showers in Sri Lanka.

Landslide warnings were issued to several divisional secretariats in the Badulla, Hambantota, Matara and Ratnapura under level 2, and several divisional secretariats in the Galle, Kalutara, Kandy, Kegalle, Kurunegala and Nuwara Eliya districts under level 1.

The NBRO warns area residents to be vigilant of landslides and earth slips in these areas.
