15-Year-Old Girl Succumbs to Injuries After Fall in Grandpass

COLOMBO (News1st); A 15-year-old girl has died after falling from the top floor of a three-story house in Grandpass.

Police stated that the victim, a resident of the area, passed away while undergoing treatment at the Lady Ridgeway Hospital for Children.

Preliminary investigations revealed that the girl’s parents are currently employed abroad, and she had been residing in the house with her grandmother and uncle.

The exact circumstances surrounding the fall remain unclear. 

Grandpass Police said facts regarding the incident will be reported to the Hulftsdorp Magistrate’s Court today.
